Internet access alone raises test scores

Post by Donald Clark points to a study that says: Donald Clark Plan B: Internet access alone raises test scores.

The findings were consistent across both genders – the more time the children spent on the web the higher their academic achievement as measured by standard test scores.

  1. It seems to me that it is access to resources that are used to improve literacy that improves the test scores not just access to the internet. The internet is just a vehicle for providing the material.

I don't think that using the internet alone will improve anything.
